Then I decided to read some tips on how you choose a good mattress for a newborn. I found out that a cot bed mattress should be much firmer that a mattress for an older child or an adult. This has something to do with preventing suffocation incidents. I bought a mattress with a certificate of safety so I guess I don"t have to worry about my niece"s health. Now, I can"t wait to see our new family member! And I hope she finds the bed and the mattress really comfortable.
